Thoughts:   A volcano erupts in Washington and dragons emerge.

A team of scientists realise this is an invasion as dragons begin appearing all over the world. First the authorities want to shut the scientists down, then they need them to save the day as the mother dragon gets ready to fly.

The biggest disappointment is that you can probably sketch out the script based on the synopsis, as this is a very predictable story. It never challenges and just plays out in a very obvious way.

The necessary CGI is fine although too often the actors don't quite line up with where the creatures are. But in all honesty none of the cast dazzles, whether dealing with people or CGI.

Watching I could easily think up a few what-if ideas and they could have entertained a few along the way. Instead there is no real misdirection and that's about it! It really is that predictable.
