Thoughts:   The daughter of a reclusive artist family falls for an unusual local boy and unlocks her own powers, and discovers her family history.

The story is good enough but it is the way it plays out that shines.

Firstly the supporting cast is strong, and allows the younger actors to star. In addition there is a very authentic depiction of the natural Wiccan magical rituals, giving believability in a mild fantasy setting.

The scenes generally look very good and there is a strong use of music to add a little creep to proceedings. Perhaps the school characters, and plots based there, are a little cliched but they are necessary tools for the coming of age elements to play out.

This is a pleasant tale, well played out, but it does have an abrupt end.
